Dude had an absolute CANNON for an arm. Nowadays they can check the speeds of infielders throwing to 1st base on ground ball outs. Elly De La Cruz has a really good arm and has the top speed so far this year for throws to 1st base. When Dunston played, nobody clocked infield throws with a speed gun; but he threw harder than De La Cruz. He's probably the best infield arm I've seen, and there are a number of guys who had great infield arms.
