I noticed that a lot of the game used patch football cards from the early 2000’s (donruss) have multiple variations, either “authentic game worn jersey” or “authentic game worn prime jersey”. What’s the difference between regular and prime? The prime are usually lower numbered. Thanks

Prime usually has a section of patch on the jersey.

Here are examples.  Prime jersey has multi-colored patch, compared to the regular jersey card.  The prime cards might have the word 'prime' printed on the card.

Thank you both. That’s kind of what I figured, but I made this post because I own multiple cards that say prime patch on the front but they’re one color patches. I’m not mad about it because the patches look awesome because you can see the wear/stains. I’d prefer a dirty one color than a clean 3 color. So i guess they use what they consider to be the best looking parts of the jersey for the prime cards, whether they’re one color or multi w/ patch/stitching.
