since I am a team collector I try to add my to wantlist in my team collection but have noticed that I may not have always done that because I just noticed that in my Pittsburgh Pirates collection 1973 Topps I have multiple wants for certain cards which I am guessing is because I had added them when I was in Main Collection ( or another collection) and then again when I was in the team collection - so is there a way to remove the duplicate wants? (I removed the duplicates from the 1973 set manually but really dont want to do that for all if there is an better way - no need to reinvent the wheel)

guessing also that if the card is added to a wantlist in a different collection that if it gets moved from the main collection after a trade is complete that that card is the only one that now shows as in collection and the other will show as still a want?  So there may be cards that show as both wanted and in collection

For the card you wish to change the want total, go to the drop down menu by the card number and use "Edit Details...". Once there, you can change the # of cards you want.

guess the question really is/was what happens when a card is added in 2 different collections and then gets moved to 1 collection ie/eg the card is added in a team collection and in main collection then realized that this happened and move the card from main collection to team collection there is now 2 entries for the card not a combined 2 for the card, right?

didnt know if there was a way to combine/merge quantities other then looking through the want list for multiple entries where only 1 is really wanted

so maybe I am getting the above because I am not entering cards correctly because I just entered some 1960 Topps that I got today at a card show through 'add by card number' but there is now (well not now because I removed the want) a want and a have - shouldnt the adding of a card removed it from want?

No on the second question. To replace the want with a have, you have to use the drop down menu for the card and click on "Add to Collection"

As for the total cards being combined in one collection, I know there is a way to do so but I use it so rarely that I can't actually remember how.
