by DarkSide830 - 261 cards (Last updated on Jan 8, 2024)

51. 2021 Choice St. Paul Saints #NNO Drew Maggi

4/26: 0-1

Maggi grinded his way through the Minor leagues for over a decade to finally debut with Pittsburgh. Later, up as the 26th man for the club's 4/29 doubleheader, Maggi charted his first two Major League hits as the Pirates knocked of the Nationals 16-1.

52. 2019 Bowman Draft #BD-23 Joseph Ortiz

4/27 BAL: 1-3, SF, 3 RBI

Ortiz provided three RBI in his Major League debut as the Orioles prevailed 7-4 over Detroit.

53. 2022 Choice Indianapolis Indians #04 Cody Bolton

4/29 PIT: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 0 ER, 1 K

Front Placeholder

54. 2022 Choice San Antonio Missions #02 Tom Cosgrove

4/29 SD: .1 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 ER, 0 K (W)

Cosgrove needed to retire just a single batter to earn the first ever MLB win in Mexico City as the Padres beat the Giants 16-11. Cosgrove induced a Joc Pederson groundout to end the top of the 7th to douse the flames before Manny Machado flipped the script with a two-run shot in the bottom half of the frame to put San Diego up for good.

55. 2020 Topps Pro Debut #PD-109 Dominic Fletcher

4/30 ARI: 1-2, 2B, R

Fletcher raced out of the gate with Arizona, hitting .462/.488/.744 through his first 12 contests. He recorded a hit in 10 of his first 11 games in which he reached the plate.

57. 2022 Choice Everett AquaSox #19 Bryce Miller

5/2 SEA: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 WP, 1 ER, 10 K

Milled dazzled in his debut, mowing down 10 batters on strikes and allowing just one earned run over six innings of work. Miller, who skipped AAA, led Seattle to a 2-1 win.

59. 2022 Choice Tulsa Drillers #31 Guillermo Zuniga

5/2 STL: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 ER, 2 K (GF)

Zuñiga landed a guaranteed deal in the offseason. He was one of 13 Braves prospects declared free agents after the team's signing scandal, and is the first pitcher of the bunch to debut.

60. 2022 Choice Tulsa Drillers #25 Gavin Stone

5/3 LAD: 4 IP, 8 H, 2 BB, 4 ER, 1 K

So with the press releases about the 1/1 "MLB debut patches" (https://cardlines.com/topps-mlb-debut-patches/), I'm hoping that we're going to see every new major leaguer get a major league card from Topps/Fanatics--and, of course, not just the advertised 1/1.  I'm not one to make money from cards, so maybe I'm missing something, but I always thought that Topps was leaving money on the table by declining to make even a single card of many new players.

Now, if I'm reading it right, every player who makes an MLB debut will have a 1/1 patch card.  Can we reasonably assume that they'll expand this beyond 1/1?  No patch needed -- but at least the card!

Hopefully every player gets one, yes. Still, I believe a revival of Total would be great for this as well, and not the stupid high-end version we have now.
