Loperfido, off to another monster start at AAA, was Houston's answer to woeful 1B production to start the 2024 season. He played a big role in his debut, driving in two runs and scoring another in the team's five-run fourth inning. The Astros would eventually win in dramatic fashion in the 10th.

Making his second career start for Oakland on May 4th, Harris erupted for two home runs as well as drove on and scored 3 runs each as the team obliterated Miami 20-4.

5/4 CHW: defensive replacement

Ramos came off the bench for defensive purposes in his debut, then produced a sac fly and scored a run after a single the next day. The Sox won both contests - their first two consecutive wins of the year.
