Trading:

I am open to trades and am fine with you offering cards that are not on my Wantlist if you think they match one of the above or would otherwise be something that I want. I am open to doing larger trades (either $ amount or number of cards) so that BMWT makes sense, but I am also fine doing smaller trades (even just a one for one trade) by PWE.

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.  

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

Set Building

As of 2024, here is a rough order of my set building needs:

1. Dog Lovers (Started with Baseball cards with dogs in them but have branched out to all trading and tobacco cards.  Probably the most fun set I've put together, and its not even for me)
2. Yuka Morii Pokedex (Pokemon cards created by artist Yuka Morii.   Stumbled into these cards in 2023 when my Pokemon card learning started . An example of the affordable and fun way I enjoy collecting)
3. Seattle Sports Team Sets (Started with Seattle Pilots Topps team sets and expanded to Mariner Topps Team sets through 2000.  But why not Seahawks & Sonics?!  Adding all sets is a work in progress as I still have some cards I have yet to inventory in TCDB)
4. Seattle Sports Mascots & Icons (Started with the Seattle Police Seahawk card and Mariner Moose RC and has expanded.  Secured all the Seattle Police mascot cards, but there are still a few I am searching for and many Moose cards on my wantlist.  This has expanded to Seattle icons, landmarks and team logo cards).
5. Garbage Pail Kids OS Series (Started to inventory what I have so I can build complete sets of the OS cards I originally purchased back in the day.   Priority is OS2, then OS1 and on.  I also like to pick up singles of newer sets based on the theme and name)
6. Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF) (Want to have one card from each person inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Ideally a player card.  Have not started this yet but its on the TODO list)
7. Yo! MTV Raps & Other Hip Hop Cards (TCDB trading has helped me get to a good spot with this collection, but I still have plenty on my wantlist) 
8. Set Type Collection (I like to pick up oddball cards or cards represented a personal memory or fun aspect of pop culture.  I prefer to pick up one or a few cards instead of chasing an entire set.  This type of collecting was mentioned in the Mint Condition book so I suppose 'type collection' is the name for it.  I could be wrong.)
9. Pokemon: Snorlax, Morpeko, Mew & Mewtwo (Shortlist of the favorite Pokemon in my household.  Gotta catch them all!)

Details

My goal involves inventorying, refining, creating custom cards, autographs TTM, and ultimately showcasing my collection.  New binders, plastics, encapsulation, 3dprint stands and more.  This site has allowed me to really enjoy the hobby of collecting, trading, set building and expanding my card interest based on connecting with other collectors and traders.

UPDATE:  I'm very close to opening up shop. I'll be excited to have trades flooding in again!

Work at my new location has been hell and I have a kid being born soon so the hobby for me has and will continue to be depressing compared to past years. I'm hoping to get plenty of more cards entered in preparation for whenever I feel free enough to start trading on here again.

**I'm often slow to respond to Transaction Proposals but I do look!  No hard feelings if you need to withdraw a proposal due to getting a faster deal with someone else.**

I'm currently prioritizing ToppsNOW, working on getting a copy of every Ozzie Albies card, and filling holes in a few insert sets.  I'm longterm working on a 2022 Max Fried flagship rainbow, and am now only needing cards numbered /25 or less.  I also am building out Stadium Club from 2021 on, needing only autos for 21 but a bunch for 22 and 23; looking for 2022 Topps flagship SPs, and then the various insert sets I've got on my Wantlist. 

My primary jam is ToppsNOW, and I have a ton of extras from the last few years.  I value them typically around $6 or so each, unless they're a big name or big rookie or some such.
