1991 Upper Deck Baseball Forum

I know it may seem straightforward for most people. However, it was not as straightforward for me. So these variations and their descriptions are as follows (will update if a better description comes along). Better descriptions can be found under the checklist drop down menus in a blue box

90 Baseball variation - When looking at the hologram baseballs appear. 

90 comic ball variation - When looking at the hologram carrots appear (based on Looney Tunes) with a small 90.

90-91 hockey sticks - When looking at the hologram it looks like an X with 90 in a block type numbering.

91 Upper Deck variation (base) - When looking at the hologram you will see super small 91s appear throughout the hologram.

92 Upper Deck variation (futuristic) - When looking at the hologram you will see the diamond Upper Deck logo.

The descriptions and orientations of "UPPER" and "DECK" are all listed below the dropdown.

Hopefully this helps, I threw this together years ago. 

I think you have the NHL and the Comic Ball reversed. The hockey one has a larger "90" than the Comic Ball.

What do you mean by listed below the drop down? I couldn’t find a great description on our site. 

When in the checklist view (not collection summary) the drop down has the master set listing and then individual listing for each VAR type. when you select a VAR there is a written description in a blue box immediately below the drop down menu.

This is correct, those two are switched.

The small 90 is a better description for Comic Ball, as I've never been able to see carrots in those.
