If you are going with 80’s insert then it has to be the stickers from Topps hockey. A mix of All-Stars and team stickers take the win for me.

All solid choices, but I can't even describe to you how exciting a hologram card in 90-91 UD was to a young feller who spent a little too much time pressing in on his eyes in order to see a bunch of funny colors.

In the 80's, I collected from 80-87. Everything but the cards went directly to the trash.

I gotta wonder, as someone who started collecting cards after the Topps/OPC "free gum in packs" was over....was the gum any good at the time of release? I remember getting packs of the 1991-92 and 1992-93 sets a few years ago and the gum were hardened pieces of chalk pretty much that pretty much crumbled as soon as I opened the wax pack.
