Hey-I'm Aaron.

I'm a casual collector. This is a good hobby for me-keeps me busy and out of trouble-mostly 😬 anyway I believe in that saying-collect what u like.  I'm not puttin' my kids thru college with this collection, unfortunately.

I really liked Jim Abbott as a kid for a few reasons and recently I've found inspiration from him --I'm hoarding all Jim Abbott-keep any and all coming my way!

Collecting:

Baseball:  Jim Abbott, Justin Verlander, John Smoltz, Max Scherzer, Casey Mize.
Hockey:  Ty Dellandrea, Pavel Datsyuk, Dylan Larkin, Danny DeKeyser, John Vanbiesbrouck, Tim Thomas

junk wax base sets--all sports

New base sets--baseball and hockey only

6/6/22 TCDB collection rankings:
Jim Abbott #4, John Smoltz #57, Justin Verlander #92, Max Scherzer #90, Casey Mize #41    These are subject to change daily.  8/7/22:  JA #1, JS #30, JV #77, MS  #33, CM #24.  10/16/22:  JA #2, JS #29, JV #64, MS #26, CM #21. 1/5/23:  JA #2, JS #28, JV #37, MS #15, CM #16  3/5/23:  JA #1, JS #21, JV #24, MS #8, CM #11. 5/5/23:  JA #1, JS #17, JV #20, MS #6, CM #10. 9/11/23:  JA #1, JS #12, JV #10, MS #4, CM #8. 12/22/23:  JA#1, JS #10, JV#6, MS#3, CM#8.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I have been trying to do the impossible and collect the entire 2016 Topps and Update Sets. Any help would be appreciated!

___________

BIO

Thank you for your interest in my profile! My name is Jack and I'm a hobbyist & collector in southern NJ. I live in the greater Atlantic City area and am a lifelong supporter of Philadelphia sports franchises. I stepped away from the hobby for almost 30 years until my oldest son reignited my interest in mid-2023.

___________

SPORTS Cards

My personal collection of sports cards & memorabilia is mainly baseball. Go Phillies! I have recently expanded into collecting for other sports, especially MMA, which is a sport I've followed since its inception. I dabble in just about everything else. I grew up at the peak of the junk wax production boom, but I collect across eras and am open to trading across eras, as well.

I'm a set-builder, through-and-through. Every single means a new set to build.

___________

NON-SPORTS Cards

It didn’t take long after returning to the hobby for me to realize that my passion is non-sports cards. I'm interested in everything, especially oddball stuff. I tend to gravitate toward sets that feature characters from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek: TNG, or anything tied to pop culture, such as cards about music, movies, or television. Finally, I LOVE my GPK collection and I'm always looking to expand on it.

___________

TRADING PHILOSOPHY

  • Will consider trades of all shapes and sizes; no preference for PWE versus larger packages
  • Will consider any purchase offers made in good faith (i.e., if the offer is reasonable)
  • Will trade and ship to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, U.S. military POs, and Canada with limited exceptions
  • Will consider other international trades if responsibility for payment of shipping and/or tariffs is agreed upon in advance
  • Packaging of cards prior to shipping is a major point of pride for me and I am confident my trading partners will recognize the value of these efforts
  • By default, will ship domestically via PWE with 'Non-machinable' stamp and sufficient First Class Mail postage to cover the weight
  • If weight/size restrictions prevent PWE as shipping method, I will typically go with USPS Ground Advantage as my second option and will send tracking number(s) via Transaction Manager
  • Will happily send using other methods or services upon request, especially for high-value items; prior agreement on this point must be established before either party sends out their leg of the trade, else the above, default methods will take precedence
  • Communication is the key; please accept/decline proposals in a timely manner, convey information about delays or returned packages, or just tell me that life is getting in the way and you need a few days
  • If you decide to decline a proposal or reject a counteroffer, I promise that I won't take it as a personal affront — however, I do greatly appreciate a basic rationale, so I can adjust future offers, as necessary

___________

***REMINDER***

PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR EACH AND ALL OF OUR TRADE(S)

FEEDBACK FROM PAST TRADES IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DATA POINT THAT OTHER USERS HAVE AVAILABLE WHEN DECIDING WHETHER THEY CAN ESTABLISH A TRUST RELATIONSHIP WITH A POTENTIAL TRADING PARTNER — PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH THE TCDB COMMUNITY

Hey everybody, Jeremy here.

Big time Husker fan as I've grown up and lived in Nebraska my entire life. I'm an alum and will cheer for any sport.

Been a card collector since a wee child. Took a 15 year hiatus in college and post-college and getting back into it collecting my childhood favorites. Boy have things changed! I'll dabble in some new cards, thus, I have newer cards for trade as well.

My goal: is to help you complete your sets and/or collect your favorite players or teams. I only have 1-5% of my collection logged into TCDB thus far, so most likely have many more in your want list then what appears. I'm very open and actually prefer trading 100-400 cards for 5-15 cards in return. I understand a number of my want list includes potentially "higher" priced cards ($1-$20+), so if I need to trade 1:10 or 1:20 if you're open to that, I am as well and will ship accordingly. As stated above, I love helping others complete sets as I have a TON of doubles and commons.

I will always send PWE, unless the trade is over 30+ cards, then use a padded envelope.

I enjoy collecting: (ranking week of 5/6 ---> 5/28)
Shaquille O'Neal (#22 ---> #23) (765 Cards | 4.6% Complete)
* Ken Griffey Jr. (#42 ---> #43) (1,328 Cards | 4.2% Complete)
* Dan Marino (#15 ---> #15) (970 Cards | 5.0% Complete)
* Kobe Bryant (#27 ---> #28) (693 Cards | 1.5% Complete)
* Michael Jordan (#92 ---> #94) (615 Cards | 3.8% Complete)
* Lebron James (#23 ---> #23) (156 Cards | 0.9% Complete)
* Alex Rodriguez (#33 ---> #33) (450 Cards | 1.7% Complete)
* Ricky Williams (#7 ---> #7) (252 Cards | 5.1% Complete)

Always open to fair offers and selling any cards in my FS/FT list, as I have a BUNCH of cards I'm looking to purge as well. As I continue to get back into it, I may grow my wants/needs in completing sets, etc. I accept cards in all conditions, they don't have to be perfect.

Appreciate all considerations and will try to communicate if a card isn't in "gem mint" condition as well, as I do have some that aren't, as I actually traded cards waaaayyyyy before TCDB came along!

I do have a SportsLots Page for selling as well: https://www.sportlots.com/dealers/?dealer=Jmo34353

After a hiatus of more than 25 years in baseball card collecting, I got back into the hobby during the COVID lockdown with a renewed interest. I have picked up my collection where I last paused, back in 1994, and actively looking to fill the few gaps in the 1969-1994 years, mainly for Montreal Expos cards, as well as pick up all the new issues since then, complementing that with a few extra players in their pre or post Expos teams.

I have diven in the new Topps products, allowing myself the costly leasure of ripping open packs. And, although I am aiming to complete the flagship sets (Opening Day, Series 1, Series 2, Update & Holiday), my preference lies in the Archive and Heritage series, where I get the pleasure of looking at classic card designs of recent players and HoF'ers, but benefiting from the precision printing and slitting of high-end equipment.

Current set builds:

  • Topps Archives 2020 (322 / 324), 2021 (300 / 300), 2022 (336 / 380)
  • Topps Opening Day 2018 (131 / 200), 2019 (122 / 200)
  • Topps Heritage 2019 (723 / 725, or 761 / 895), 2020 (683 / 725, or 714 / 899), 2021 (613 / 725, or 614 / 908)
  • Topps Heritage Chrome Purple Refractors 2020 (137 / 150)
  • Topps Holiday 2017 (199 / 200), missing #107, 2019 (277 / 300), 2020 (288 / 300), 2021 (287 / 317), 2022 (199 / 300)
  • Topps Update 2021 (330 / 330)

Sets being completed dating before hiatus

All-Cards Challenge:

Don't hesitate to contact me if you are looking to offload Expos cards, or even enquire if I have doubles of those players, as I'd be really happy to help you out as well. ;-)

Cheers & Happy collecting!

The Rangers won the World Series in 2023. I collect any Texas Rangers cards.

It is hard to quantify how to make fair trades. Please don't be offended if I reply with "respectfully decline".

Main focus is Marquette basketball players, but also the handful of alums in other sports that have cards.  I also PC to a lesser degree:

  • Cubs
  • Bears
  • Notre Dame football alums (only 2007-present and some legends)
  • Blackhawks
  • Bulls

Still need to log my gaming and misc cards.

Hello! I am a newly minted (ha) baseball card collector interested in collecting Twins (and Mariners and Blue Jays) cards from all eras, along with small sets, especially those created by non-traditional publishers like cereal companies.

Players I'm looking to collect cards for:

  • Dave Stieb (cards owned: 25)
  • Rich Hill (cards owned: 4)
  • Lonnie Smith (cards owned: 9)
  • Joe Mauer (cards owned: 9, plus duplicates up for trade)
  • Joe Ryan (cards owned: 6)
  • Jose Miranda (cards owned: 5)
  • Kirby Puckett: (cards owned: 37, including one autograph)
  • Jhoan Duran (cards owned: 4)
  • Ichiro (cards owned: 8)
  • Ken Brett (cards owned: 3, including one duplicate)
  • Bert Blyleven (cards owned: 13)
  • Carlos Correa (cards owned: 7)
  • Byron Buxton (cards owned: 9)
  • Ken Hrbek (cards owned: 32)
  • Steve Jeltz (cards owned: 3)
  • Pablo Lopez (cards owned: 2)

Types of cards I'm generally interested in:

  • Players featured in "The Baseball 100" by Joe Posnanski.
  • Players born in Minnesota.
  • Players who attended the University of Minnesota.
  • Players who have played for ten or more different teams.
  • Players in the Hall of Fame (and Hall of Fame-caliber players who won't get in for PEDs or other reasons).
  • Players in the "Hall of Very Good" (players who are nearly good enough to get into the Hall but not quite).
  • Cards with artwork and not photographs.
  • Cards with creative photography (or bad photography).
  • Cards with questionable graphic design or layout.

Not all of my cards have been added to my collection; the ones I haven't added are mostly commons. My wantlist is very big and broad, I will be making a list with my most wanted cards at some point soon. However, I won't be disappointed if I receive any card on my wantlist. I am a college student, so it may take me some time to get through all the steps of a trade, but I try to be communicative on that front and let my trade partners know when something might slow me down.

I will consider all trades, big or small, to USA and Canada. As a rule of thumb I would prefer to trade base for base.  I do have some inserts and short prints in my FSFT list.  I will consider trading inserts for base cards on a case by case basis. For the short prints I am hoping to trade for other short prints on my want list.  As far as condition is concerned I am looking for NRMT for 1980-Present, 1970s EX-NRMT, anything prior to 1960 I will consider almost any condition (although I would ask for pictures prior to accepting).

Priority of my collections are as follows:

****CURRENT PRIORITY IS CLEVELAND INDIANS/GUARDIANS TOPPS HERITAGE CARDS 2001-PRESENT***********************************************

1. My Cleveland Indians/Guardians collection, trade requests involving any of these cards is most likely to get my attention.

2. My Topps Base sets, I am diligently working on completing my 1980-Present Topps sets.

3. My sons 1992-93 Upper Deck basketball.  Down to only 39 cards to complete this.  Mostly high-series, but there is a few low series.

4. Any other sets on my wantlist, such as my 1991 Fleer are a distant priority.  Trades involving only these cards and requesting higher end cards like inserts are more likely to be declined.

Born and raised in Cleveland and have been a huge baseball fan ever since I remember.  I credit my grandfather with my love of the game and love of the team.  My first memories are of the playoff teams of the 90's and I've been collecting ever since.  My goal in collecting is to collect as many different players as possible who wore the uniform.  This started out as collecting all flagship sets over the years, but has expanded to many less known sets as well.  Eventually I may even look to include inserts, parallels, etc.
