Set: 2004-05 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection - Signatures (Rate)

Card: #US-AT Alex Tanguay

“ Strange a memorabilia card on RCOTD and an autograph for the Write One, both with the same issue for me. Front design is good but the back with the congratulations taking up the entire space, with no room for any info about the player, no stats, nothing. ” -davidhandberry

“ Nice card! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ From the lockout season when there were fewer hockey products than usual comes this little gem of a very good player who had a longer than average NHL career. Nice built-in COA ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ Nice card with an interesting looking signature. I like how the jersey number is incorporated into the back end of the auto. ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ Cool card ” -parsley24

“ Wow Border too SILVER much like many cards are way too WHITE. OK design for autos but man all that silver border. Back typical boring "Congratulations you got a card with an autograph on it". ” -captkirk42

“ I first glanced at the auto and thought it was T.J. Oshie ” -NJDevils

“ Cool, an auto on the RCOTD! Not a bad player either! ” -muskie027

Set: 2013 Topps Mini (Rate)

Card: #159 Ryan Nassib

“ I don't know what that design is at the bottom but overall just another boring Topps card and another useless parallel. ” -davidhandberry

“ nothing against this design, but nothing exciting ” -Thunderfoot

“ Like the design very tired of mini parallel sets though. ” -captkirk42

Set: 2018 Panini Playbook - BLITZ (Rate)

Card: #3 Adam Thielen

“ Interesting looking card. I believe the first time I have seen a QR Code on a card. I hope it's the last. I remember the hype about them a few years ago and downloaded an App to be able to scan them. Scanned a few the first few days and never did it again. Another overhyped technology, in my opinion. ” -davidhandberry

“ For an insert, this is a pretty darn cool design. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Not my thing, but kudos to Thielen's career!! ” -muskie027

“ Download that App for a free digital version!! Or just right mouse click and choose "Save image as." ” -rmpaq5

“ Not too bad of a card ” -parsley24

“ Nice looking card. I don't like the origin of the brand (an all digital card set). Back is way too plain. ” -captkirk42

Set: 2008 Upper Deck (Rate)

Card: #569 Delmon Young

“ Great card. UD flagships are always pretty nice, this was no exception. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Promising player that never developed. Most people only remember him for throwing a bat at an umpire. The card is nice looking. The back is perfection. ” -davidhandberry

“ Maximum picture! Good back. Solid A. ” -cjjt

“ Nice design. A design using foil that I can actually get behind and really like. The "First Edition" version of the set has white lettering and is a little easier to read. I've always thought that this regular version should have had the standard printing and the "First Edition" be the one with the foil lettering. ” -captkirk42

“ Nice photo but everything else about the front is weak. Speaking of weak, turn the card over. ” -NJDevils

“ Very nice design. A time period I wasn't in the hobby for. ” -muskie027

Set: 2016 Cryptozoic Outlander Season 1 (Rate)

Card: #08 The Enemy of Your Enemy

“ Wait...is that card back Kilt-print? ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The worst enemy of the trading card industry is a non-sport card/set without anything to influence a value other than some perceived scarcity. Design is simple and clean but boredom reigns supreme. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ Nice Non-Sport card. I don't watch the show but have heard it is very good. It is billed as a time travel show. I think it is more getting stuck in the past via an unintentional time jump. Not really a time "traveling" but more of a time "traveled" plot. ” -captkirk42

“ My wife says all of the nurses she works with love this show, but somehow I've been spared. ” -jackal726

“ It's weird. I never heard of this show or the books it is based on until a few weeks ago when Alex Trebek acted like the contestants on Jeopardy were idiots for not knowing a question about it. I looked it up and now have seen things about it almost every day since. Weird how that works. As for the card it is nice looking, good pictures and really like the look of the back, but I just can't get into nonsports cards. ” -davidhandberry

Set: 1982-83 O-Pee-Chee (Rate)

Card: #78 Doug Wilson

“ Current GM of the San Jose Sharks...a very good player that hardly anyone talks about from his playing days...some rumblings he may get the call to the Hall of Fame some day. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about the design of this card brings a smile to my face. ” -YoRicha

“ I'm a baseball guy but man those mid 70s to late 80s O-Pee-Chee/Topps hockey designs are some of the best ever made! ” -rmpaq5

“ Love this set,ahh the nostalgia .Wilson is one of the best defencemen ever to play in the NHL. ” -uncaian

“ What is not to like on this neo-vintage 1980s card? Looks very good. No major complaints, well maybe the team represented since they aren't my team. ” -captkirk42

“ Love the In Action cards from the early 80's OPC sets. The pink backs are on of my favorites from that era. ” -rmitchell6700

“ Is it just me or has hockey dominated RCOTD lately? Decent front for it's era. The back I like the two languages but very plain. ” -davidhandberry

“ A base card then, In Action is now an insert in current OPC and OPCP series. ” -Mscott713

“ Does not look like much action going on here. ” -kirkscards

“ Another older card, another beauty. ” -muskie027

Set: 2001-02 SP Authentic (Rate)

Card: #109 Curtis Joseph

“ Go from one numbered hockey to another...cool. The design is pretty sparse. I like real photos, not players cutout in front of some computer generated backdrop, or nothing. Just lost his hold on 4th place in the all-time wins list to my all-time favorite player (Henrik Lundqvist) within the last couple of weeks. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Lots of hockey lately. This card bothers me and I don't know why. Love the colors but not a fan of the blur around him and the picture on the back is useless. ” -davidhandberry

“ For the short time I followed hockey closely, CuJo was one of my favorites. Though not a fan of this card that much. ” -jupiterhill

“ Cujo ended up being an underrated goalie of his time, probably because he played at the same time as Hasek, Brodure and Roy. Maybe he was a stat accumulator because he played so long, but it's weird to not have someone that high on the all-time wins list not in the HoF. I like how this card is both modern and simple. Sharp lines in the graphics while getting a shot that also includes his iconic helmet art. ” -Toddbwd

“ CUJO.... one of the 4 all time great hockey names ” -parsley24

“ Nice card. Cujo was one the best between the pipes. ” -uncaian

“ Something about this design doesn't sit with me right. Not sure what. I could be the placement of the "All-Time Greats" banner if that was on the bottom it would be better. I don't like sideways text. Back they took the front design and shrunk it a little. ” -captkirk42

“ Seems they always use white backgrounds on hockey cards to simulate ice. All it does it give a bland background ” -NJDevils

“ Nice serial #'d SP card of a very decent goalie who had a long career in the NHL. All Maple Leafs collectors either have or want this 1 for their collection! ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ Cujo! It kind of bugs me seeing serial numbered cards when more than 1000 exist, but I guess it adds character to relatively bland cards. ” -DanD

“ The infamous SP Authentic SP subsets... ” -suomibear8

Set: 2005 Fleer Showcase - Wave of the Future Jersey Green (Rate)

Card: #WF-DW David Wright

“ Overall, not a bad card. I like the design on the front. The back could use a bit more info to fill in some negative space. As a parallel, it certainly needs something extra to separate it from other versions. A little foil logo is not enough on this card. ” -spazmatastic

“ If these are wrong then I don't want to be Wright ” -rmitchell6700

“ 2005 Jersey card? Looks more like it should be a 1995 jersey card. Oops jersey cards didn't start til 1997? Anyway I'm saying it looks too plain to have been released in 2005. ” -captkirk42

“ Green foil and a local team, great card! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ If this card is the wave of the future, I would greatly prefer to go back in time.... ” -Vvvergeer

“ Wow. Pretty boring both front and back. I'm waving goodbye here in the future. ” -NJDevils

“ Front is great for a memorabilia card but back is the same congratulations that most have, boring. ” -davidhandberry

“ If the card were 8 x 10, it would be okay. Normal sized--lots of white space. no good ” -cjjt

Set: 1994-95 SP (Rate)

Card: #77 Clyde Drexler

“ One of my favorite players from that time. Finally got an NBA title with the Rockets in 1994-95 after coming so close many times with Portland. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Card is ok, Clyde was great! ” -muskie027

“ I like the photos on the front and back. Just wish the front text was easier to read. ” -davidhandberry

“ Clyde the Glide looking smooth. ” -vanstryland

“ The glide!! ” -RoyalChief

“ I hate how my card of the day comments are always buried at the bottom and not showing up on the front page. Hate this card because he is not in a blazer uni. ” -parsley24

“ Another Basketball Random Card. Sorry I don't like this set design. The Gold arrow is more distracting than complementary. It actually works better on the back with regular colors. Team name a bit too small almost didn't notice it. ” -captkirk42

Set: 2008-09 Fleer - 1986-87 Rookies (Rate)

Card: #86R-165 O.J. Mayo

“ I like retro throwback cards but Fleer did this set way too much. They threw back to it at least 4 times I can think of off the top of my head. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I remember the hype around him when he went into the NBA. 10 years later and he is playing in Asia because of continual bad choices, always breaking rules. The card though is greatness. Love the border, the backdrop, is great. The back is very well done, wish they hadn't used blue on red on the top, kinda hard for my eyes to see very well, but that is a minor, personal issue. Front is a 10, back is a 9. ” -davidhandberry

“ I hate when they recycle ideas. ” -NJDevils

“ Nice Rookie card. A commemorative Rookie insert set with a retro design? ” -captkirk42

“ Nice to see a kid from Huntington as the RCOTD. ” -UKboogie

“ Retro style rookie insert themed stuff is cool. They should be relished, if you haven't started collecting this set there is still time to ketchup and complete it. ” -baseballcardstoreca
