Year: 2016

Set: Topps Gypsy Queen (Rate)

Card: #163 Stephen Piscotty

“ This guy's name makes me think of food. Change the P to a B and (although spelled differently) you have an Italian pastry. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Cardinals! Had a good start to his career. We ended up trading him to Oakland in a rare-to-sports humanitarian move so that he could be closer to his mother who was sick with cancer. Sadly she has since passed. He was traded for two infielders that are still adding depth to our farm system and major league bench in Max Schrock and Yairo Munoz. ” -Brimose

“ As a Cardinal fan, I was very hopeful Piscotty would have turned out to be a long term star for the team. But, I am happy the Cardinals were able to make a trade to help him out. All I can say about this card is "it's hideous". ” -bpaul14

“ Ugh. More Gypsy Queen. As a release it still sucks. ” -BrewerAndy

“ Can`t get enough of the GQs....love the graphics,the background(s)..... ” -OogaBooga

“ Gypsy Queen. Hated it when first revived by Topps due to that year's dark gray border. Have grown to like it since. The base cards anyway. ” -captkirk42

“ I really liked Gypsy Queen when it first came out. It was new and interesting but after almost a decade it is time for a new idea. Same goes for the Allen and Ginter sets. ” -davidhandberry

Not a baseball fan but I do like the design of this card.

Still clinging to my Gypsy Queen habit. Really liked it at first, but then they put all the fun cards -- the retired players -- into the shortprint world. And I don't do purposeful shortprints. So it's less interesting. One more year....
