I have good memories of watching him alot during my childhood.  I met him once when he came to my town for a promo at local chevy dealership.

His wife is from Memphis so he still spends some time here.

I am surprised that our Canadian brothers have not mentioned his CFL days yet in the comments!

Can't fault it. Lots of good points about this card. Better than modern Upper Deck cards!

Reminded my encounter with Theismann in Memphis. Went to visit Graceland and was waiting for my flight home, so I went to checkout a sportscard shop. The owner ended up being a former security guard of Elvis, and sold some ND collectiblles/cards cheap and gave me several more ND items. I was leaving with an armload of stuff a couple on thier way to dinner held open the door, it was Theismann and his wife. Super nice guy and capped off a "bucket list" trip for me!

I was not even a year old when my parents put a tiny Hogs tshirt on me and we all watched this Super Bowl together. Wouldn't really remember much until I became a rabid fan in the late 80s and ended up going to Super Bowl XXVI with my dad when we won two tickets (i.e. right to purchase at face value) in the NFL ticket lottery.

The Riggins "Moments" card from this year's Luminance set might be my favorite card depicting this particular game...
