@pugchump- his name is in blue foil. Base cards are gold foil, there is also a red foil version.

Colorful card.  During his career I couldn't stand him.  But couldn't stand him because he was stone cold and could be "intimidated".   Number 3 will always be my guy but Jeff will always be one of the best drivers ever.

Some cllaimed the colors were for the LGBQT group. I think it was just showing some of the many colors Dupont paint has to choose from..

More of a rainbow/multi-colour card really. Not sure what makes it a blue. Either way, there's just too much going onwith the backgrounds.

He was young, got off to a bad start personally.....

Don't know if it was bad advice on how to deal with fans or

just didn't follow any he got....

Watching NASCAR from the late '60s on, never been a fan of young drivers

being put in the best cars... Felt they didn't earn anything...

Billy-  There was no red parallel of the base set, are you thinking of the promos? There were gold and red versions of those.

As I understand it, the blue cards were inserted in random boxes, but the boxes were solid.  If you got a box with blue cards, all of the cards were blue.  I think they called them "Checkered Flag Chase Boxes", but I'm not sure if they were outwardly marked in any way.

I probably am Tom. I know I bought a red one on COMC.

I'm working on trying to get at least one example of every pack pulled parallel ever for NASCAR. I still need one of these blue ones.

Mid to late 90`s had some AMAZING cards for NASCAR. My favorite era for cards personally. Love this card!
