“ Vintage - 90's - Star - Ruby of a HOF player. If it was Jordan and graded PSA 10, the owner of this card could buy a house. ” -abide

“ Love the old Sonics logo ” -pugchump

“ These Star Rubies were one per box. The first year that Skybox had a parallel. I've never actually seen one from this subset before....cool! Most NBA sets, 1996-97 is my favorite season, Skybox is one of the very few where that isn't the case, though I do like it. Maybe someday I'll actually complete it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Damn those are ugly uniforms ” -tinyshogun

“ The Glove had game that would translate to any generation of BB played so far, not many can say that. ” -jackal726
  2
“ A parallel from one of my favorite basketball sets ever. Good card. ” -switzr1

“ GP.... The Glove.... Beaver Great.... hate the design of the card, but its the SONICS.... ” -parsley24

“ Don't like the sideways lettering other than that I like this Edge "Excalibur" design. ” -captkirk42

“ Not a bad card. Would look better without that awful Sonics logo though. The older skyline logo was FAR superior. ” -hiflew

“ First, the logo behind the player is unnecessary. Then, the name-plate could be a bit more color-coordinated (sideways name-plates always give me headaches, anyhow). Other than that, a nice design. ” -Ken Kinsey

“ He has Rod Strickland's jersey hanging up at his house. #respect ” -UKboogie

These weren't in packs if I recall correctly.  I think they were a hobby box topper (or possibly even under the packs).  I'm pretty sure they were inserted loose (no top load or sleeve - not even in a 1 card pack).

Too much going on with that background and border.
