“ I really struggle with major brands that have to airbrush out the logos of teams. ” -parsley24

“ We really need to start bringing back nicknames or shortened names for some of these common Latino names. Lou, Lew, Louie, Lewis, Louis, Luis. That is six, which would take care of almost half the players named Luis Gonzalez right now. ” -hiflew

“ Even though they don't have the licence, I still believe that Panini baseball products are awesome. ” -NickyCollects
  2
“ Wait a minute... ” -TwinKiller

“ Optic The Panini/Donruss answer to Chrome. So not a fan of these. It is a shame because I love the original Donruss designs, the Panini revival designs not so much. I just realized that this design looks a lot like a Prizm design and I do not like those except for an occasional color parallel. ” -captkirk42

“ Not related to the other Outfielder named Luis Gonzalez. ” -mkb

“ How cool would Panini baseball brands be if they could get licensed and put some effort into the back? ” -muskie027

Donruss no carrying the Linsence sort of hurts as far as enjoying the cards.  However Donrus/Panni does well with their variants and parallels, Rated Rookies, Optic, Rated Prospects, Diamond Kings ect.

I personally love some of Panini's products and their attempts at keeping the Donruss name alive is good. I wish the owners would get off their high horses and give Panini a license in baseball. Competition is good for the sake of the quality(you would hope) and good for the collectors.  Grateful that the players at least licensed it, thats part of the battle.  I hope it happens sooner than later.

Maybe Fanatics can buy out Panini like they did Topps so that they could use the logos on the cards then

Although some of the card styles and photography are great. The lack of logos, team names on jerseys and obvious airbrushing of MLB no reference to the team names otherwise is a turnoff. I bought the 2020 cards when I came across them, but that was it.
