Uh...Votto over Walker?.....mmmmm, I don't think so.  But, Walker is also one of the quiet greats that was hindered by injuries and overshadowed by the likes of Andre Dawson, Rock (Tim) Raines, Vlad Guerrero who all had tenure at Expos when the team existed but they were not born in 🇨🇦.  He overcame all that with 10 great seasons with the Rockies.  He was a hockey player before he was a baseball player.  He developed the skills over time in the minors, with very little prior baseball experience, and truly showing what an athlete is, someone who can adapt and change gears and learn quickly how to become really really good at whatever they decide to do.  I guess you could argue all day about this and that, but I guess I would be partial to Walker because I watched him play in my youth and enjoyed his quiet ability to man-handle games.  Ryan Dempster and Ferguson Jenkins are noteable.  And I can be torn when I think of the Rockies as there is always Dante Bichette to consider.

It seems to be Timber OR Threads.  I really like that there's a "before" picture of the jersey or bat.  Somehow that makes your relic feel slightly more tangible.
