“ Oh it's a Minor League card at first I thought it was some insert. For some reason I had to click on the image to get to the card page to see the back image, mouse hovering didn't flip the image like it normally does. That happens occasionally, ” -captkirk42

Very basic, even for 1993. However, it does actually work for this set.

@Thunderfoot -

Yes. Weinke was drafted by the Blue Jays out of high school (2nd round, I think?) and played a handful of years in the minors before heading to Florida State and starting his football career

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

"Yes. Weinke was drafted by the Blue Jays out of high school"

And not just any high school.  Cretin (now Cretin-Derham Hall) in St. Paul, Minnesota, where Paul Molitor, Joe Mauer and five other MLBers came from.

And Steve Walsh, Matt Birk, Ryan Harris and nine other pro footballers, too.

Yes, its the Heisman Trophy Winner from FSU. He played minor league baseball for a few summers and then went back to play quarterback.

Great use of lighting available from the photographer. You can almost make out his face.

I used to bug this guy for autographs as a kid when he played for Knoxville.  I'm glad he finally made it to the big leagues even if it was the NFL.  If you do a set filter search for Bowman for him, he's got a RC in the 1995 baseball and the 2001 football sets.  Pretty cool career.
