“ I know it would probably slow him down (wind drag resistance or whatever) but he really needs to be rocking a cowboy hat while he's acing that Tour de France. ” -ray fosse's ghost

“ Wow. This is cool. Cycling card. And from the era when I watched Tour de France every year. Even a guy whose name is familiar to me. ” -Duke

“ Cycling cards are so rare I thought this was a "Sports Illustrated for Kids" card at first glance. Mostly due to the coloring in the design. ” -captkirk42

“ Looking at the handle bars, I am assuming this shot is from a time trial type stage. As the race makes its way thru France, the scenery with its old world architecture, seemingly scattered throughout the mountains and valleys, is quite a sight in itself. I enjoy watching the Tour. ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ Definitely looks like a card from the 1990s. ” -freakizon

Unfortunate coincidence. Davide Rebellin was apparently killed in a biking accident today (11/30/2022). RIP.

Seeing the same card image for both the RCotD and In Memoriam is a little unsettling...
