El presidente! El perfecto! I miss the expos 

¡El Presidente!  I love the positions in Spanish. 

Two cards from the same set in three days.

Watched him aplenty during his Orioles Earl Weaver days 76-86.  Great pitcher 

Card is...ok...I'm pretty sure any grade 10 kid today can make that in twenty minutes on their phone now...but it is an interesting one with the Spanish addition.

Player...well...Expo fan = Dennis Martinez fan...plus his story is so inspirational too. Seems like he is still doing well which is great.

Try doing that with 30-year-old technology. :)

Pacific would certainly get much better in the later 90s. But at this point in time, they were attempting something that was different and trying to reach another audience. And all in all, a pretty solid design.

As for Denny Martinez, he was a very good pitcher with a very long career.

Looking at my comment on the last one of these I'm thinking the same thing.

They looked good at the time, but haven't aged well.

I hear ya, I was more just commenting that its pretty simple and the angled boxes, etc look a little dated by now. However for the time and what they were doing, no knocking on my part! Hence my rousing "OK" a solid one thumb up ;)

I'd love to know why Pacific made variations for this card (and the other latino stars). Image cropping and text/name shadow didn't do a whole lot for any of the cards.
