Saturday, April 12, 2008Year: 1952 Mike Garcia formed part of the "Big Four" pitching staff of the Cleveland Indians. 1952 was a very good year for him, compiling 22 wins, 143 strikeouts, an AL-best six shutouts, 2.37 ERA (second best in the league), he made his first All-Star team, and came in ninth in MVP voting. |
