This is probably a common theme but I'm reacquiring cards from the late 70s and 80s that my mother tossed in the trash, namely O-Pee-Chee hockey (and to a lesser extent baseball). Any suggestions as to where's the best place to purchase sets or partial sets? I'm fine with low-grade cards too.
So far I've been looking on eBay, but the majority of sales seems to be selling singles with hefty shipping costs per card. I did find a few good sales of 90% sets from 80 and 81 for $50 respectively + $15 shipping, but that seems to be quite rare.
The set from 1980 actually had a Messier RC, Gartner RC, Goulet RC, and Gretzky second year, though they were pretty banged up (don't really care though).

Obviously, Canada is the best place as that is where they were released. But knowing wher eyou are from would help narrow it down a bit.

Sportlots has many singles, but you have to check ship costs carefully, as some sellers charge large amount to ship over border and some are reasonable

Ah, good point. I am in Ontario Canada.I would prefer a Canadian site because I assume it would be a bit cheaper and quicker with shipping.
Thanks fo all the tips though people.

Sportlots still may be a good option for opc singles, although I do not think there is a way to search for Canadian sellers only....but when you find a card you want, the ship cost should tell you where seller is.

You can click on the seller's link on each card on Sportlots to get their postage rate, and that includes to Canada.
