I'm really ticked off right now!
Within the past few months, I bought a 1994 Donruss baseball set...and, no, I don't remember where I bought it.
What ticks me off is that I finally got around to putting the set into sheets and a binder...and every stinking card is bricked together so badly that each card was ruined trying to separate them. Every one had to be thrown away.
I know, it's my fault for not closely examining them before now, but it never occured to me that I would buy a bricked, useless set!
Okay, rant over.

That's usually the main issue with buying older sets or boxes - how bad is the bricking. Sometimes I luck out and get away with minimal damage, and other times I get my ass handed to me. I guess it's the chance we take.

So Sorry to hear that, I have an absolute s-load of stuff that is bricked together 1 of them looks like about 50 all-insert football cards
(i can't see past the cards on either end but when both are inserts i cant imagine they are sandwiching base cards but until they fall apart from one another i may never know, would love to send it in to have the block graded just for a how you doing Joey moment though they would likely refuse it.

Yeah,I had a few sealed factory sets I opened last year that were bricked. Late 90s i think they all were.

2001 Topps Baseball is the absolute worst followed by 2002 Topps Baseball. I am puttting together the 2001 set in a binder, still not complete, when it should be, so many damaged cards out there

Are you looking for regular 2001 Topps or Home Team Advantage?

I just inherited a couple thousand random basebcall cards from 1992-2003. After going through a few boxes, there were definately a few sets that consistantly bricked. Almost all the 1993 Upper Deck baseball in the lot were very bricked. Early 2000 Topps was also in bad shape.
The bricking seems hit or miss; While 1993 Upper Deck was prone to bricking, all the 1994 Upper Deck was still in really good shape.
It would be nice to know what set/year cards brick as sometimes I like to buy a wax box to start a set I want to build.
