I have mixed feelings about all this as these are not actual physical cards.

How do you as a collector feel about all this?

No. Just no. There is a line and you have now crossed it Topps. The NFT's (non-fungible tokens) are meant for a certain mass of collectors and speculators but I am not amongst them. I have enough trouble keeping up with Topps physical product to deal with their hypothetical product too. I just don't know what to make of NFT's in general. Someone recently paid $69.3 million dollars for an NFT art piece and even the artist commented that NFT's are absolutely a bubble. This seems like a party that it would be good to arrive late.

It doesn't work for me but maybe it does for younger collectors?

Nope, not gonna happen. THey alreaday reutilize their past designs and slap new pictures onto their physical product, why would I want the same concept in a digital format also.

I won't feel sorry for anyone stupid enough to buy something that doesn't exist. Yes, I don't care who I may offend...you're idiots. But if there are any of you out there, I have a digital Babe Ruth game-used bat for sale.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I have to admit too, I'm most curious about the autographed digital cards. Why??? I guess while some people are spending their money to get those pretend autographs it will be slightly easier for everyone else to get the cards that are actually literally autographed. I'm thinking a fool and his money are easily parted here.

Personally, if I cannot physically hold a card (raw/graded) in my hand, I do not care to spend money on it. However, I am interested to see how the whole NFT concept will evolve given MLB, NBA (Top Shot), WWE, and whoever else is joining this race. Also, it seems some individual athletes such as Patrick Mahomes and the Manning brothers have started to get involved as well. I am sure the NFL will rush to start something before the 2021 season.

Doesn't this sound a lot like eTopps 2.0? Pretty sure the same thing will happen.

Get this. When this launches on the 20th there is going to be a 10 pack maximum purchase. I asked them if I would have to stand in line at Target as well.
