Would you get a $100 card or 100 one dollar card? (You need all of them) or a deal that gives you more cards vs a few card(s) for the same amount.
I'm into more the merrier. So I would go with the 100 cards
I'm talking about collecting not investing.

Can I go for both? I'm in the midst of building the 60s sets. Depending on the year it could be the 100 for 100 or just the one for 100. All depends on where I'm at. With that said, right now I'm in the 100 for 100 mode. Always nice to see a huge chunk of a set knocked out.

More is better is my tendency, but it may take me awhile to make the decision. I will say that my debate is only for expenditures in the $20-$25 range as I've only paid more than that once, $35 for a Reggie RC.

The answer is it depends...vitnage? ..Last card to complete a set? ...Incredibly rare or does not pop up for sale often? Those may make me want to buy 1 card for $100, but in general, I would prefer 100 different Red Sox from the dollar box, than a single $100 card, especially when it comes to modern.

Red Sox collector...current count 62,000+ different

$100 for 100 UNLESS the $100 card is a Puckett AU, or his pre-rookie.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

For Vintage Cards, I would say 100 cards, but might be BOTH, depending on the Card, especially if it was a 1952 Topps Andy Pafko in at least VG-EX Condition . . .

I think i would go for the one if i had 100 to spend on cards. I can get the other 100 any time, one at a time.

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

I'd probably go for the single big value card, if only because the $1 cards are generally easy to find and acquire. If I had a chance to get a more rare card that I want, I'd take it. Of course, it always would depend on te specific cards in question.

I would take the one $100 card. It's much easier to store and I have too many cards.
