So back in 2021 during Topps' 70th Anniversary year, you may remember they put tickets, I guess platinum tickets, in product, I can't remember if it was just flagship or other product. There were 50 tickets and you could bring one guest to the party. During the party there was a lot of swag given out and there a bunch of Youtube videos if you can find them. One of the boxes given out was this 2021 Topps Platinum Anniversary box, this is non-Chrome version, of the 2021 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary set, or at least I think it is, Topps never released the checklist so I'm unsure if all 700 cards are part of this set. Might be a smaller checklist. Given that there were only 100 attendees I'd guess the print run is amazingly small for this product. I'm sure more than 100 boxes were produced but who knows? This was given out at the November party, well before the very delayed Chrome product. What makes this an even harder set to research is the fact that the Chrome version dominates the sales, however there are still some boxes for this for sale ($800). And singles pop up every now and then, also pricey!!!
I could have sworn I added this product to the database when I found out about it, but it doesn't appear to be here anymore. Does anyone know if it was deleted or if it's in the database I couldn't find it.
