Greetings, I am going through some cards and came across a 1990-91 Pro Set hockey card #560 with Rob Blake on the front and Gord Connelly on the back.  I have not been able to find any mention of it anywhere.  Can you help?  Thanks, Tom Baldwoin.

Card# 611 with a wrong back (Rob Blake RC). I am not sure how rare or common these were, but a lot of errors & variations can be found in general through that entire set. There are a couple of guys on the site who really enjoy chasing and collecting these. Hopefully one of them can give you a better answer. 

I have #619 Zdeno Cigar with #595 Robert Reichel on the back.

On another topic, I have #456 Rod Buskas missing the name, number and position on the front.

Series 2 seems to be littered with pack-pulled wrong backs. These don't typically qualify for master set inclusion but some like to add them. I beleive they only exist in one combo for each player: Rob Blake, for example, will only be found with Donnelly on back and visa-versa. So one could essentially make a complete wrong back set. Maybe.

What is interesting about them is that unlike most Topps wrong backs from the junk era, 1990 Pro Set S2 wrong backs can be occasionally found in poly packs. 

It is also worth noting that 1990 Pro Set FB S2 packs can be found containing wrong backs that have Pro Set FB player on one side and an NBA Hoops player on the other. They were heavily reported in hobby magazines back in 1991.
