I used to be able to add all missing cards for a particular team to my want list (vs. selecting the wants 1 by 1). This used to work great and now is not working for me anymore. The option is there, but the cards are never added to my want list. Thanks for any help on this!

Are you trying to mass add or select individually? I do know that there is a mass add issue once your wantlist hits 100K, which yours has. Once you get to 100K you cannot mass add, you have to do it individually. Or something to that effect.

Your wantlist is at 195K. You won't be able to mass add anymore.

Can you elaboratein that? Is this the case that if I had an incomplete set and I wanted to add all missing cards, it wouldn't let me? What number is it set at? And can we raise it?

Think it's somewhere at 100,000 or 150,000 on the wantlist. I have never added that much to my want list, so I don't know with certainty the exact number, but it's 100K or higher.

And no, it cannot be changed. It's a default site feature, probably for a few reasons - preventing user error and data storage slowing the site down are the biggest two that come to my mind.
If my memory serves me correctly (and it's entirely possible that it does not), the limit used to be 100,000 using the "Add all" functions. Within the last year or two, I believe someone discovered that the number had gone up to 150,000, but it stops there.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Now I don't feel so bad with my meager want list!

Why would anyone have a want list of over 100K? You'll likely never collect all of them

A wantlist could easily get over 100k when you are trying to complete sets. I have 44k or something like that from just adding cards from sets that are not yet complete. Plus a want list means you want it not that you'll get it. But, I see where you are coming from. I am only 23 so I have a chance to collect many of my sets on my want list. Only time will tell.
