While adding cards into my collection I noticed there were 2 football players with the name Tony McGee that are combined into one.
The 1st one has cards from 1972 to 1982, and the second has cards from 1993 to 2002.

What are the criteria for names to be added for linking? Do they have to have a certain number of cards in the system?

Tony McGee is fixed now.
DaClyde, no minimum requirements.
Thanks,

Some name issues cropped up with players on the WIlliamsport Crosscutters minor league team sets I added the other day:
2013:
Manny Martinez is linking to a player that had cards in the early 90s
Drew Anderson - There appears to be 3 Drew Andersons all rolled into one. The one on the crosscutters, this appears to be his only card. The other 2 had overlapping minor league careers from 2003-2010. Not sure if you can even tell which one is which to split them up.
2012:
Luis Gonzalez is linking to the Luis Gonazlez that played in MLB from 1990-2008. There also appears to be 3 TCMA cards from 1978-1980 also linked to that player that arent him.
Tyler Greene is linking to the current MLB player of the same name.

Ok, I'm just saying, Wy don't Sport players work like the rumor I heard once about actors? If Ryan Miller, for example, becomes an actor and there is already a Ryan Miller in the industry, Ryan Miller 2 is recommended to change his name, (Also known as a "Stage Name" ). How many Brad Pitts have you heard of?

Yup.. thats true. Thats the reason Michael J Fox has the J. There was already a Michael Fox with a Screen Actors Guild Card. J isnt even his real middle initial. HIs middle name is Andrew.

There is a major cluster with 4 football players named Larry Brown.
1. Larry Brown running back with Washington Redskins has cards from 1970 to 1976
2. Larry Brown tight end and tackle with Pittsburgh Steelers has cards from 1976 to 1983
3. Larry Brown defensive back with Dallas and Oakland has cards from 1991 to 1996 and some in 2002 & 2011 Topps subsets due to being named a Super Bowl MVP
4. Larry Brown tight end with Tennessee Titans has cards in 1999 and 2000
Thankfully only one overlap occurs in 1976. Card # 115 is Larry Brown #1 and # 381 is Larry Brown #2
