Hey just joined and had a a ton of questions! Love the concept of the site but I do wish it was a little easier to understand and manage! One question I had was is there a way to see all of the collectors on here who have completed a particular set?

Start with reading through the FAQs. The link is at the bottom of the page under General Info.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Hey thanks for the response I took a look through the FAQs I don’t see anything about who completed a particular set though, I was wondering if there’s an option to go to a particular set and see how many people have completed that set, or whose working on that set, etc

Welcome to the site! It definitely becomes easier as you get used to it.
If you go to a particular set --> collection summary, scroll down and under "Reports", you'll see links for:
That particular example is for the all-popular 1993 Fleer set (the first one I thought of). Not sure if there's anything that tells you who has completed which sets though.
Hope that helps a little...

Great thank you for that! I see so much potential on this website but I do think it needs a rework

There are things on it that do take some getting used to but you'll find that this site is by far the best trading card website out there.
As you learn the site, occationally users come up with good ideas for improvements. If you do, there is a feature tracking section where you can vote for new features others have suggested or suggest new features or changes of your own if you come up with ideas for improvements.

The user community here is amazing as well and are usually more than happy to answer questions to help people out. The trading community is amazing as well. I've finished off so many sets working with others here. Fantastic group of people. There are several threads in the forum for trading suggestions once you are ready to begin trading with others here. The biggest being having large want and for trade lists. The more cards you want and have to trade, the more matches you'll get with others here.

Plenty of people have suggestions. You can go to the bottom of the page to Things to Do link and then New Feature Tracker. You can see requests submitted and add new one(s) is yiu see fit. Other members vote of them and Admin tries to implement as he can based on priority and/or ease of implementation.
Just remember, this site will never be perfect for every user.

Site's only been around for 16 years. I'm sure someone who's only been a member for one day knows best.
Nice first impression.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned on (details are in my profile).

And before you start suggesting changes, I strongly recommend exploring the site in many areas and its capabilities as a collector. I took about a year of exploring and slowly entering my collection before I got more involved. I definitely did not start to criticize the site on my second day of use.

Just because something has been around for a long time, doesn't mean it's perfect. There are definitely things on this site that could be better, so shooting down criticism doesn't seem to be the way to go. But good job on being a jerk to a new member. I'm sure they'll want to stick around with that kind of response.
