For future reference (for those who don’t know already), if the site ever goes down unexpectedly for an extended period of time, you can visit the Facebook page or Twitter to find out what’s going on. You don’t have to have a Facebook or Twitter account to browse these pages.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by today’s outage.

Admin, Social media is blocked at work for me (wich is where I was during the outage). How quickly do you notice outages? Is there a method for us to report the outage (other than on social media)? I don't need updates through e-mail or anything, but if I see it's down like that, I would be happy to e-mail you to alert you.
