I checked baseball-reference.com and it seems the only Angel to wear #61 was Mike Bovee who played with the Angels only in 1997, but he is listed as batting and throwing Right not Left. I did a google search to see the card. You can definitely see most of "Orton" on the back of the jersey (the "O" is only partial). The number looks like 61 but could also be 51 but checking the list on baseball-reference shows about 15 guys who wore 51 for the Angels though they years none of them close to "Orton".
I was also thinking what <b>vroomed</b> said about it being a picture from spring training. Lots of guys, wear a different number during spring training than during the regular year. Probably is from spring training as a lot of card pictures are taken during spring training.
