Yes, Huddles was a line of plush toys.  A cutesy name, Huddles playing on the word Cuddles.

Yes during their popularity around 1983 The Huddles had plush toys of each of the NFL teams (even teams without a mascot) they had at least 2 sizes of the plush a little 5 or 6 inch and a 12 inch. They also had a series of 2" or 3" PVC figurines of which I have 7 loose ones. I would love to have a full set of 28 both loose and also on card, Unfortunately they are hard to come by and are listed at insane prices.
