Can anyone check your collection/trade cards to verify the existance of this corrected version of card 1988 Score #209 Marvell Wynne.. I am unable to add a link, sorry.
Please don't tell me there is an image on TCDB so it must exist.
I have seen this card listed as UER, I searched a factory set which I assume had all the errors worked out to find the mispelled version. The picture here is off color, the spacing between the first and last name is twice as wide as it should be (just like if yuo erased the E), So......
Thanks Ed

Went to baseballcardpedia.com and it only shows the 209 Marvell Wynne as a UER card with no correction. Hope this helps.

A brief internet search did not turn up a corrected version on eBay, COMC, or Google Images (my three go-to's when searching for visual evidence on a time crunch). However, I do not put much stock in to the collection statistics on here. I believe the "Add entire set to collection" feature is both a blessing and a curse when considering an instance like this. How many members have a "complete" set of 1988 Score and "added all" to their collection without actually checking ERR/COR/VARs? Especially a handful of years ago when ERR/VARs didn't get the attention they're getting now?
Although it does seem odd (for lack of a better term) that 188 members blindly added an entire set to their collection, it's very possible. I know that I would certainly do that, especially seeing as I usually don't worry about VARs when building a set. I think the best bet may be to reach out to someone with the card listed on their FS/T list - NJDevils and EP are both members that I recognize and would be happy to provide information, I would think (two other names I recognize are Bob and his Dupes account, and he's already chimed in).

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I can say this much. I hand entered a FS into here in Spring of '17. I say hand entered because I verified which VAR/ERR/COR I was putting into here when I did it; not a blind Add All. I have the ERR, from a FS. One would think that a COR exists it would have been in there.
Of course, I have gotten perfectly sealed factory sets with cards missing or damaged (inside the cellophane even for Donruss) so maybe that doesn't mean much....

Yeah, I don't have it. It must of loaded when adding sets. Another gliche when adding sets w/ ERR/VAR/COR cards, anything gets loaded, if in the set, although fraudelent.

I have not seen any sort of confirmation that this corrected variation exists. I proposed to buy it from a few people and none of them have it as their inventory shows. Looking at the picture regarding the spacing between first and last name suggests it IS an altered image of the error (UER?) card.
How does one proceed to get this removed from the data-base?

I would recommend first sending a message to Admin. I would send them a link to this thread, and the other evidence you have built up - including other sites with images, and any other sites that don't mention the existence of it. I would imagine, based on what's been noted here, that Admin will agree it should be removed.
At that point, an IR to remove the images will need to be submitted, followed by another IR to transfer collection info and delete the card from the checklist. However, I think this is where things get sticky. If we just transfer collection info, anyone who added an entire set all at once, as noted above, will now have the card listed in their collection twice. Considering this, seeing if Admin can send a mass message to those with this card, telling them about the change and to double check their collections, may be a wise decision as well.
Just my two cents. Perhaps someone else has better/more advice.
