1999 Fleer Tradition Baseball Forum

Does anyone know of this insert set?  I have never been able to find it on this database which surprises me as most of the major companies insert sets are usually found.  Before I do anything more, I would like ot know if there is something I am missing.  Any info - checklist, location, etc. would be appreciated.

But when I saw your reply, I was sure you would have the info I was looking for; you are one of the more knowledgeable on this site.  Any answers?  I know there was a commemorative sheet issued like in 1998 but this card is clean cut.

These were the cards distributed to the kids who participated in the Diamond Skills youth baseball program to record their results. After the competition was over and winners announced a Commerative Sheet was distributed to dealers. All these cards and the commerative sheet should be listed as a separate Promo set. Not listed as an "Insert and Related".  Of course, first a checklist of the participatant cards must be found.

Would the participant cards be the same as the ones depicted on the sheet or are there more cards than those on teh sheet?  I think there are 8 of them on a sheet.  If so, it may be easier to make a checklist.  My references only refer to the sheet.

Yes the Commerative sheet has 8 cards. The only participant card images I can find are of the same 8 on the sheet. So, maybe we can assume they were the only 8.  BTW, was MLB's version of the NFL's Punt, Pass & Kick.

I wonder if any of our members are/were a shop owner back then and participated in this program?
