While everything you say is probably true, "Unlicensed" IS a category of cards we include here.  Has been one as long as I've been around, which is like 5 years I think.  These should probably be moved from Team Set to Unlicensed, but they shouldn't be removed.

I have been collecting for 36 years and these odd unlicensed cards are always an interesting curiosity at the least. 

I think-more than anything-more reasearch needs to be done. Maybe the Blue Jays knew about them? Anybody feel like calling High Five Photography?  Anybody in Canada so it's a local call?

I'll reach out to them tomorrow.

I do vaguely remember these cards from the Legends days.

I contacted http://www.highfivephoto.ca/ mentioned in the first reply. Not them. They indicated that they are often confused witn an Ontario firm with the name on the back of the cards. 

The phone number on the back of the cards is out of service. I did locate them now in Vaughan, ON. It is the right firm, but the manager indicated that there are no archival documents from '91. It has been under new ownership since '16. The original owner passed away back then.

For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of the two owners of Legends of the Game.

Wow! Thanks for all of the leg work! I'm sure someday, someone will know the truth about these cards. Until then we never rest, right?

I agree about moving them to unlicensed.

I have change the status of the set to unlicensed.

So, over the past few years, I have been able to get a Carter and an Alomar.  It looks like nobody in the db has a Jimmy Key and I certainly have never seen one.  Are people sure that one actually exists?
