This set might need some work. Or it might not even be correct at all. I don't know.
My understanding was that Fleer/Skybox took older cards that were signed and stuck them in the 2001 rack packs. There doesn't seem to be any continuity as to what set each auto card came from. Currently, we have two cards with images: one is 1997 Sports Illustrated Alex Rodriguez #d to 94 (originally card #170, unautographed and unnumbered) and the other is a 1998 Sports Illustrated Then and Now Scott Rolen #d to 150 (originally autographed and #d to 250 on the back). Neither card actually has a printed number so I would be inclined to say they all need to be changed to NNO in the checklist (if that actually is the complete checklist).
I have what appears to be 2 versions of of the Ben Grieve card. Except now I'm not sure it's actually 2 different from this set. They are both originally from a set called 1997 Fleer/Skybox Signature Series, which for the life of me I cannot find on the site. COMC has a couple of the cards from this set, but I can't find a checklist anywhere. My Grieve cards (according to my notes), one is unnumbered but I read somewhere that it had a print run of 100, while the other matches the other 2001 rack pack series with a serial number (to 250 in this case) on the front.
So now I'm kinda confused about the whole thing. Is the 1997 Fleer Signature Series actually a thing? Is the Rack Pack checklist accurate?
Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.
