My completed set is listed as 702/704. I belive this is due to the 2 cards that were mis-numbered. Would the cards (246 & 410) need to be listed as VAR for the number to add up correctly? I understand that 1 version is correct and the other is UER, but they are variations of the same number, correct?
Thanks.

I know we've had issues like this in the past with other sets, and I think changing one to "VAR" just reduces the second number. I think this might require a report to Admin to fix unless one of the others IR resolvers knows for sure.

I think the B would need to be removed. I think the percent calculator would treat them as separate cards, and overlook the duplicate card number, if that B wasnt there.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

They're two separate cards; one has the wrong card number but it's a separate, different card. If it was missing the card number, would you make it a VAR of some other card? If you make them VARs then they become one card in the count.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Semantics aside, I agree that having the cards as VAR's would not help in the count. Is anyone aware of a way to have the collection count 2 of the same number separately? Or is this a job for IR/Admin as Ed suggested?

Did my solution not work?

The "b"s were removed and still the count is 702/704.

Yes, thanks for the suggestion David, but removing the b's didn't change it.
I checked the 1993-94 Hoops basketball set because it also has a numbering issue. It does not appear to have the same issue with the collection totals. I also notice that I cannot edit the numbers, though I can with 1991 Bowman. I would guess this means that admin did something and then locked the numbers. So probably an IR is necessary.
