2006 Upper Deck Sweet Spot Baseball Forum

I've got a 2006 Sweet Spot Update Signatures Victor Martinez. It's numbered the same as the Red Stitch Blue Ink version, SS-VM, but the serial number is out of 150, not 71 like is listed in the collection summary listings. Any ideas if there is a similar version of a higher card count? Thanks.

Looks like the SN71 one is from an update series. The 150 is from the regular set.

Appreciate the response. My card is from the update set though. The link you posted has a different numbering structure, color, and the update cards have a banner on the back. I did the same thing initially logging it as the card from the main set based on the serial # until I noticed the card number and color were wrong, then I noticed the banner. Other sources I've searched also only show the /71 in the update product.

Since they were both redemptions, I wonder if the "other sources" have it backwards.

The only problem is that I can't find any images for the SN71 version.

Jim Thome SS-JT also seems to have a similar issue. The list cited above as well as the TCDB inventory show the Red Stitch/Blue Ink count is /75 but the version I found on eBay pictures a version /15.

Similarly, w/ Travis Hafner SS-TH, I can find both the version /525 as listed on the list and in the TCDB inventory, but there's also a version /30 that isn't in the inventory.   

Piecing together lists and pictures I've come to the conclusion that some cards have to have multiple variations. I found pictures of Update cards for Travis Hafner, both red stitch blue ink, both numbered SS-TH, but different card counts. There's an /30 and an /525 version.
