2007 Bowman Chrome Baseball Forum

Is anyone able to confirm that all 256 chrome prospects are in this set? BaseballCardPedia has the first 110 chrome prospects as an Insert Set for the regular 2007 Bowman set. We have several other Insert Sets for these cards in the regular set, but not Chrome. The checklist that Topps issued with this set has the Prospects starting at BC111. Cardboard Connection, Beckett, and Topps websites were not helpful.

2007 Bowman Chrome - Prospects runs from BC1 to BC256. I have almost the entire run to include 256 so yes. The Bowman set (to include Draft sets) from those mid-00 years can be confusing in their numbering scheme and consistency. Not like today's 1-150 and 151-250.

My question really is whether BC1 to BC110 came in packs of 2007 Bowman or packs of 2007 Bowman Chrome.

Yeah, I saw that as soon as I posted my response. I got a little thrown off by your wording, but in my defense I just woke up. I went digging around after I posted and saw the discrepency in the checklists posted here after looking again at the BCP post. You may be right, it does look to be miss in here.

And I do see that Beckett just lumped them all together which I don't find unsurprising. Laziness on their part, probably because of the set continuity and their inability to provide basic descriptions. That's probably how the set's checklist got loaded here and no one saw the issue or just didn't call it out until now.

The Chrome prospects with the black border (1-110) were only found in Bowman. The white border cards (111-256) are from Bowman Chrome.
