1989-90 Hoops Basketball Forum

Just from a pedantic standpoint, really curious about how the cards were cut and distributed into packs. I know this is the first year of NBA Hoops and I just opened a pack (15 cards) that had 5 duplicates, and sadly not great ones (Rony Siekaly, Ken Norman, Bill Laimbeer, Mike Gminski, and Paul Mokeski) - curious if anyone knows specifics about how cards were sheeted/cut/packaged.

That's assuming there was some rhyme or reason during the timeframe. So many issue with production back then...

If it was simply one pack I'd be suspicious about it having been resealed. If it was more like 10 or more, then that'd be par for the course.
