1984 Topps Head-In-Box Proofs Baseball Forum

I've been looking around on the Bay lately for various oddball errors, proofs and such, and there are about a dozen sellers there right now passing off regular '84 cards as the NNO head-in-box proofs, with all the listings I looked at including the fully-printed backs of the cards complete with numbering and everything. Lol!

Unfortunately, ebay is full of sellers who don't their posterior from a hole in the ground.

They see a listing of something that "looks like" the card they have,m and they click on the sell similar item link, and don't change anything. I see base 1989 Donruss cards listed as Autographed Recollections cards (and priced as if they are autographed!). I will sometimes contact the sellers. What's annoying is when they don't change it. They get reported as misleading titles.

Crazy! Yeah, I've seen quite a few obviously messed-up listings before here and there but never this many across so many different sellers for one specific set. I don't email people about them generally but did this time. Some of them had several thousand feedbacks and a few of the listings even had bids. Smh.

Also most Ebay sellers never show the back or even check the back it seems.
