Even though there have been many discussions about the correct way to # checklists when there are no #, we still have some checklists uploaded in error such as this one.  This is not to criticize one member who is doing his best to improve the site; this is to bring awareness once more to some who haven't followed the directions.

I have sent an inaccuracies report to Admin.

I suspect their problem with simply going with NNO on that "set" is because two of the cards offer English & French variants.

Edit: I do not believe that I "fixed" them with my edits.

I was doing a little research on this set in order to appropriately list the variations of the bilingual cards. Can anyone confirm the checklist? TCDB has the set at 15 with two of the cards having a bilingual variation.

According to the 2010 edition of the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, there are only 7 cards in this set. They are:

All-Star Set (Juan Guzman)

Steve Avery

Jeff Bagwell

Tony Gwynn

Mark McGwire

Frank Thomas 

Nolan Ryan

I have the same checklist of 7 promo cards.  I think the checklist entered here came from the back of a card that listed some of the sets available from previous and current years. Only 7 sets were issued in 1992, not all listed on the back of the one image already loaded.

It looks like the other 8 cards are from the '91 set. Looking at the other Barry Cola sets, it looks like we have some work to do. Not all the sets are added. I'll stick it on my project list, but if someone has some knowledge of them already, there's a few checklists that need to be uploaded (at least for '92).
