What is with the notes for cards 213-262? All have R87 (I assume it refers to the retro 87 card design) in the note 1 field.

I just went in and made 85 changes to the note 1 and note 2 fields to add missing info and remove the term "Base" from several note 1 fields.

Wanted to ask if this is something new for note 1 before I make changes.

This may not be you, but I'm wondering why base cards have a VAR annotation on them. Example below, this is a base card, not a VAR, but a  base. Or maybe it was because the #a ARE base cards not VARs. #b, #c and so on are VARS. All need to be fixed. Having R87 as a Note 1 is fine as it is indicating a subset. If BASE was in the Note1, then yes, that should have been removed.

The reasoning is because they are a print variation of the same card number. Having a "VAR" for both a & b cards allows both cards to show in the error/variation list. Are you saying one variation should be shown as "BASE" in note 1&2 fields and the other as "VAR" ? None had "BASE" in a note field but "Base" was in a few notes. I do not get the R87 being a valid note 1 entry.
