I don't understand what the "Error short print" variation means. Anyone?

The VAR for this particular SP is an intentional error Topps put onto the card. Intentional Error VARs are seen with the word ERROR by the card number.

Looking at some of the entries, why the Note 2 says ERROR Short Print I'm not sure. The Note1 is SP, VAR (correct) and the Note2 should just be Error Variation
