To add to what I said, Bruno, the TMTS was applied to all the Teammates in 2015. One member, who is notorious for only changing notes on certain cards, particularly of the guy in his user name, changed two of them to something else in 2017. A third member changed those two back, to match the rest, in 2020.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Admin had specifically allowed the use of "Car" as a note on the cards that are images of cars. You guys stripped that all out. Never once asked me anything...heck, didn't even let me know there was a committe. Not that you guys owe me anything, but at that time I was putting in the second or third most amount of work behind the scenes, with IRs and making sure everything fit how it's supposed to. It would have been nice if you had even noticed...and maybe asked me if Admin had OKed it. But nope, you just removed it, wasting my time and undoing all the work I had begun to do.
By you I refer to the committe, not just you, Dan.
At least it took more work for you guys to undo it than it did for me to correct it in the first place. That's not a moral victory, but at least it's something.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. That is why I stopped contributing to the site. I found it is always one person that has to get their way and decisions are a waste of your time. I do the same with the forums I comment on a few, then never go back to them.
I've found making up a trade proposal is more important than helping the website. I did help when I first found the website but that quickly died off. Do you want missing cards or hassles for points on a screen?
I still recommend the website but warn them to just sticking to trading because you will be hit over the head in time if you try to contribute to the site to make it better.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

Agreed. I like the site, but I realized pretty quickly that the content is fluid.
While that's a good thing in terms of growing to encompass more trading cards and improving the accuracy of existing items, it is also disadvantageous for those who rely on static lists or who contribute something contentious without having vetted it through the decision maker(s).
I accept that people use the site differently, so "better" means different things to different members. I'm sure we all want to make tcdb better, but clearly that will never look the same to everyone.

thanks to all of the folks on this thread, for what you do and have done for the site.
I like how some guys try to insert humor when things get a little tense..
it is unfortunate that some folks are mad at each other, but hopefully those can see the greater good in the site as a whole and get back to having fun with the hobby...just like the brothers who fight one minute, then back to playing a few minutes later..
