I know a lot of the printing variations in this set do not meet the criteria for being able to get a VAR inclusion on the checklist, since most are blobs or stray lines (plate scratches) or incorrectly colored stat headings. But I wonder about this Rohn Stark variation where his name is in a different position on the front of the card. See the writeup here with pictures:

Without seeing both whole cards we can't tell if it's just a printing register issue (printing glitch). You'd have to think, would they bother creating new plates just to center the name/team/position?
And I could swear this same card came up before.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Just went through my extras. Extremely common, so not a VAR. Both the top and bottom banners shift at the same time, it's not just the bottom banner. So it's just a print register glitch. I'll have images soon.

Chuck is correct. Same card was discussed in the linked thread.

Actually I see a cut difference in the two cards. While the header lines up with the photo the same on both, it is just the bottom that is different. Look at the ball in the photo.

Anyways, just asking, I'm going to keep it in my binder anyways. Just wanted to make sure nothing was missed.

So, are you saying that the header & footer were printed in a separate step than the photo?

I'm not sure about that. If that were the case, knowing how many screwups this set has, we'd probably see wrong named cards.

If this were an off registration print flaw, it would exist in a variety of placements but tthe banner shift only exists in the two, specific, placements. This is 100% a change to the plate made by Pro Set in the 4-5 (still deabted) printings this series went through.
