1990 Pro Set Football Forum

There is or may be an issue with this card entry:

But I didn't want to submit an IR for it without some discussion. There are two versions of this card, but depending on whether the var is allowed to be listed will influence how that entry should be corrected. The two versions are the regular back and the error back. The error back is currently on the entry. The error back has a small number 1 under 800 and to the left of Defense in the gold card number area. You can see this as a small black mark or line on the current picture because it is an older one without any zoomer. Of course the regular issue card doesn't have this 1.

So now what happens to the current card entry depends on whether or not the VAR is allowed to be on the checklist. In either case, the current back art on that entry would need to be removed or replaced.

We would need to see images of this supposed "error" or "variation".

The ERR image is on the entry. The COR image is in the amazon link.

The database image is too small to tell what that mark is.  Cannot find any card images with that mark on ebay or comc.com.

I am unable to locate a picture either. This var with the "1" is very rare, and if it cannot be confirmed, what to do with the situation with the entry? Remove the existing back image because it has the wrong picture?

What's wrong with the back image?  The stray mark?  That doesn't constitute a wrong card image.  We have no evidence of any "1" variation.  Did you ask the uploader, rayfromtexas for a hi-res scan of that area on the card back?

Where is the "1"?  I do not see a "1" on that ebay listing.  

I've already seen the TCDB image and there's no way to tell what the stray mark is.
