Does anyone have more information on the 'insert' set for 1000/3000 Yard Club?  I just received my first one and it is a much thicker card stock and the front has a foil background. I know the first 41 base cards of this set are the same 1000/3000 yard club cards (names, teams and numbers as well as images) but the card stock is the same as the base cards and there is no foil.  To that end, there are several scans in the insert set that do not belong because I think they are scans of the base set cards.

My question is on naming the insert set.  I've seen them called 'Booster' sets in some eBay listings, and I see other inserts for this set have 'Booster' in the name.  I wasn't collecting at this time due to college drinking studying.  Should this set be called Booster, Finest or Foil?  Were they in wax packs, hobby boxes or blaster packs?

The NBA parallel using the same technology was called Power Boosters. That is not Finest or foil technology, it's holofoil. 

I think we should rename the set to include "Boosters". According to Beckett, these were inserted into packs at a rate on 1 in 36 packs.

Yes, "Power Boosters" was the term as stated on boxes and packs.  I think the full term "Power Boosters" should be used. And quite a few of those insert images are base cards. Also, the Power Booster inserts don't have a white border like the base cards. Who wants to do the IRs?

I agree on using the name "Power Boosters".

I'll approve any IR proposals for this set. I'm going to pass on making them (already did about 175 today).
