Hi all,
I'm in the process of building the checklist for these cards...
8'790 cards, came in packs of 10 unnumbered cards each, each pack containing 10 cards of the same actor/actress except for packs 21 to 30 who contained 10 random cards each.
I only have 5 packs without references & will be listing those as: Pack #n°xxx TBA
Still have a few days work on these, so please be patient...

Honestly, probably best to delete what's there and try again. I'll put in the IR to get the checklist removed.
Edit - IRs were already in place to remove images already uploaded.
Can only add 1,000 cards at a time to a checklist.
Email me the full file.

P.S. 8'494 cards, not 8'790 as estimated at the beginning:
Packs 301-310, 336-340 & 366-370 contained 6 larger cards not 10.
Packs 856 - 879 consisted of 1 large sheet with 10 uncut cards

I noticed that many of these have been added as 1 card sets? Shouldn't just one set be made even though the total number of cards in the checklist is unknown? Maybe treat it like some of those "live" sets like Topps Now.
I get frustrated when just one or two cards are added as a "set" by themselves when they are more than likely part of a larger set.

Hi,
There is more than 1'000 cards in this series, that's why it was decided to add them like that, but sorry to say; I've seen more Baseball or Basketball cards with a 1 card set than any other type of cards.
Lol

Right now I'm adding images for sets #21-30, only these contain 1 card of each, most of the 1'869 other sets have 6 or 10 cards within...

Those who worked on this massive set did a ton of research and considered multiple options for the best way to list them. They focused on trying to find the best way to list them to document everything correctly while also catering to the users of the site.
It is not a live set. It is not a Buyback set. It is not a set that, quite frankly, the site has encountered before. The way they are currently listed is very similar to the Topps Archives Signature Series cards. Some subjects have one card; some subjects have multiple. It was decided this was more organized and easier for cataloguing purposes than one checklist of more than 8000 cards.
The work that this set took encompassed the better part of two days, and was completed with care and attention, even though those working on the sets don't have any particular attachment to these cards. I would encourage everyone to consider everything that went into this project before expressing disappointment in anything regarding this set.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

OK thanks.
Mostly curious about why they were done that way. I wasn't trying to call anyone out or to complain that they did something wrong. Too many people assume other's intentions for what they say and often they are very wrong.
@jasongerman9. I realize that it is NOT a Live set, or a buyback set. They didn't have those things back when these were made. I used "live set" as an example to make adding more cards to the set easier. I didn't realize there were over 8,000 cards to this set.
My "complaint" seems to have been corrected and answered. Thank you all.
