There seem to be three shades in 2024 Heritage...light, medium, and dark.

According to Cardboard Connections release notes, flip stock is hobby only.
Did Topps still use different codes for different sets?Usually, Topps gives each variation a different code. If you check the code in the bottom right of the questionable flip stock cards, if it matches the code on the base cards, it's a base card. If it's different, then you have a variation of some sort. You need good eyes or a magnifying glass to check.

For both 2023 and 2024 heritage (I didn't research anything prior), the flip stock does not carry a differentiating product code.

Flip stock ID and the (potentially) large number of those is important but what about the backs? Are print runs going forward fix that? Or is that the default now? I’m looking for lighter backs so I can read them!

Feels like the flip stocks would be difficult to easily identify this year IMO. These 2024 backs have a bizarre, almost waxy feel to them. They almost stick to each other.

I'm not sure if flip stock does this, but all the other parallels are marked in small printing where the card number is which parallel if is.

Don’t forget the Venezuelan type too, though that may be a bit far reaching. Those were printed on darker paper stock.
